After my visit to Chatuchak Market, I went back to my hostel to leave some stuffs I bought. Then rode a three hour van ride to Pattaya City for 180 THB.
The city’s reputation as a sex capital is well justified! It does try to lose its sex tag and many of its visitors instead come for temples, restaurants and beaches. Here are 18 photos to inspire your travel to the Sex Capital of Thailand!
I booked my stay at Citin Garden Hotel which is located south of the City. It has a pool, free breakfast and peaceful ambiance.
BIG BUDDHA HILL SCENE
By the free shuttle service of my hotel, I went to Big Buddha Hill in the afternoon after I arrived from Bangkok. I love the elaborate design of this place. It’s well crafted! It’s one of the cultural highlights I was anticipating. PATTAYA VIEWPOINT SCENES
After Big Buddha Hill, I hopped on a 5- minute motorbike ride to Pattaya View Point for 75 THB. I went here to get that classic shot of the City’s wide crescent bay.
I was famished. It’s a good thing there is a cafe nestled beside the ViewPoint. I love this place because I got to see the spectacular panoramic view of the main beach.
The coffee they served was simple and down to earth.
WALKING STREET PHOTOS
At night, I went to the biggest and busiest party hotspot in the whole of Thailand which is the Walking Street!
The remarkable thing about Walking Street is that there is so much to see and do. It’s packed I could spend every night for a week and would still be finding new places each night! But the one thing that really surprised me was right and left they were selling LIVE SEX SHOW! Indeed, the sex capital!
CORAL ISLAND IMAGES
After breakfast the next day, I went to Coral Island. It was a rainy morning before I went here.
The rain stopped and I proceeded to the pier and rented a speedboat. It was one hell of ride! Since I just had breakfast, I felt myself vomiting!
But anyway, we docked before arriving to the island to try parasailing for the first time. I was still nauseous after the speedboat ride but the driver told me to be quick about it. I thought I died! Imagine being nauseous while parasailing!
ELEPHANT VILLAGE SCENES
After coming back from the island, I went to an Elephant Village. No one leaves Thailand without seeing an elephant.
But I felt so wrong after this tour that I don’t recommend going here. I wish I had gone somewhere else!
I couldn’t believe my 24 hours stay in Pattaya was over! If you have enjoyed this post and has helped you in anyway, you can help keep this blog running by booking your tours below. I hope this helps you with your Thailand Trip.
